MEDITATION
Meditation has been clinically proven to reduce stress, lessen anxiety, increase quality of sleep and help your body heal faster. Sitting still and focusing on your breath seems super simple - right?
Well, not always, especially if you are just starting out or returning to a practice. I often use a guided meditation, even when I’m practicing regularly, to help keep me in the moment.
Remember, it doesn't need to be perfect. It is more important that you take the time for you and start to build awareness than trying to sit still for 20 minutes, and then get mad at yourself because you only got to minute 3 before the ticker tape of your mind started going.
Be gentle and try to find at least 5 minutes every day to really focus on your breath.
